Florida AFL-CIO Endorses Doug!
   On Saturday June 21, 2008 the Florida AFL-CIO COPE Endorsing Convention voted to approve the endorsement of Doug's candidacy.  In response Doug was "thrilled and excited at the endorsement and looking forward to working with the over 500,000 AFL-CIO members in the State of Florida to create new directions to improve the lives of all Floridians"

  Doug meets with Senator Obama  

On Friday June 20,  2008, our candidate met with Senator Barack Obama.  Invited to a small gathering at the Senator's Jacksonville fundraiser, Doug and the Senator exchanged opinions on the current energy crisis in the U.S. and how it is affecting his State and District.  Look in the Issues section and see how Doug wants to make Florida oil independent and build jobs in his District.
